Careers accumulate—but without structure, they easily lose clarity.
Careerlog began with a simple observation: even after years of work, many people struggle to clearly articulate their own careers.

This project started not with the question of how to store career information, but with a deeper one—how to structure it so it lasts.

STRUCTURE BEFORE INTERFACE

Organization must be designed before the screen.
At the planning stage, careers were defined not as blocks of text, but as structured data units—where roles, projects, responsibilities, and outcomes connect organically. UX flows and screen layouts were then built step by step on top of this foundation.

The more complex the thinking, the quieter the interface should be.
Whitespace-driven layouts and a clear information hierarchy allow users to focus on their careers without having to learn the interface itself. Visual elements are intentionally restrained, creating a UI where flow and context read naturally.

BUILT FOR REUSE

One record should lead to many possibilities.
On the development side, the system was built so entered career data can be flexibly reused—exported as résumés, PDFs, or portfolios. Instead of recreating documents from scratch, users can select and extract what they need from an accumulated career base, depending on the situation.
